Welcome to Briarcreek Lake history:

Briarcreek Lake was developed by Ray Newman in 1978 as a Unit Ownership Estate with 34 individual owners surrounding the 5 acre lake. Briarcreek Lake is a private lake with mandatory yearly dues and all owners are members of the Briarcreek Lake Association. Developer Ray Newman wrote the covenants and by-laws subject to the Oklahoma state Unit Ownership Estate Act.

Briarcreek Lake is situated between two other private lakes. Briarcreek Lake has water flowing into our lake over the Regal Lake Estates dam and water flowing out over our dam into Silver Lake. Additionally, we have several small natural springs and the lake acts as drainage for the surrounding neighborhood streets.

Briarcreek Lake Association members enjoy the convenience of boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boats and fishing. We have many varieties of ducks, geese and wildlife such as raccoons, mink, opossum and squirrel that live in the area.

Briarcreek Lake is surrounded by the larger neighborhood of Briarcreek which has a voluntary neighborhood association.
